There are two kinds of people in this world. Bombilla people, and gourd people. For those who don’t know, I’m a gourd man. I’m not embarrassed by it, at all. I actually embrace it.
Being the gourd man that I am, I had to feature Circle of Drink’s most recent creations: The Jungle Gourds. The Jungle gourd series includes: Fuego, Líon, & Mariposa.
These three gourds were handcrafted in Argentina, and are truly some of the more lively gourds that I’ve encountered (and I have a bunch)!
They feature extremely detailed craftsmanship, including intricate carving, and multiple colors that are either the product of painting or burning.
I’m all about the calabash—natural feel, natural taste, and natural look.
